Jill Ondrick struck out 17 batters and drove in a run, and Riley Flatley batted in the winning run for Weymouth in a 2-1 Bay State Conference softball victory over Needham.

Maggie Schlossberg tossed a no-hitter, collecting 13 strikeouts as East Bridgewater coasted to a 12-0 shutout of South Shore League rival Rockland in five innings.

In the Catholic Central League, Mylee Ramer fired a complete game one-hitter, tallying 13 strikeouts to complete a shutout as Bishop Feehan (2-0) coasted to a 6-0 win over Archbishop Williams. … Tessa Francis surrendered just four hits to go with no earned runs while striking out 11, as Marblehead topped Northeastern Conference foe Masconomet, 3-1. … Lucy Boncore fanned 15 as Winthrop defeated Salem, 7-4.

Caroline Daley pitched a complete game, three-hit shutout while going 3-for-4 with three RBI and two runs at the plate, and Briella Clinton went 2-for-4 with a double, two RBI and a run as Walpole rolled to an 11-0 win over Braintree in six innings.

Sophomores Molly Burns (2-for-3, home run, four RBI), Chloe Seto (2-for-4, five RBI) and Bella Burns (3-for-4) powered things offensively, as Wakefield erupted for a 15-3 win over Arlington.

Kiki Powell, starting in her first game, recorded a single and a walk as Randolph defeated Brighton, 16-3, in a nonleague matchup. … Reese Taylor drove in two runs and scored twice while striking out seven over four innings of work, and Marissa Kelly went 2-for-2 with a triple and scored two runs as Apponequet (2-0) bested Middleboro, 7-1.

Alessandra Cautili finished 2-for-4 with an RBI double, and Gracie Delucia drove in two runs as Medway topped Bellingham 9-6 in Tri-Valley League action.

Kiley Hogan punched out 12, surrendering just three hits and one earned run over six innings of work and going 3-for-4 with two doubles as Tyngsboro coasted to a 16-1 Midland-Wachusett League victory over Clinton. Carly Smith went 3-for-4 with four RBI for the Tigers.

Freshman Hannah Crowley paced things in the pitcher’s circle (seven strikeouts, four hits, earned run) and at the plate (3-for-3, grand slam) as Milton Academy cruised to a 17-1 NEPSAC win over Portsmouth Abbey in four innings.

Baseball

Stef Alexander hit an RBI single and earned the win on the mound, while Jansen Thomas went 2-for-3 and got the save as Cambridge (1-0) defeated Haverhill 6-4 in a nonleague contest. … Brayden Mercier fanned 13 in a complete game on the mound, backing a two-run double from Andrew Schmit to power St. John’s of Shrewsbury over Nashoba, 4-1. … Ryuji Nawa smacked a pair of doubles, Dylan Conley batted 2-for-2 and Aidan Murphy struck out 14 over six innings to pace Weston in a 6-2 win against Minuteman.

Jay Fotiades pitched six innings, and Joe Pumphret had three hits as Winthrop came from behind to beat Salem 8-3 in the Northeastern Conference. It was Jack Wallace’s first win as Winthrop head coach.

Aedan Provo batted 3-for-3 and scored three times, while Ryan Moreschi (two RBI) and Alex Fernandes (three RBI) drove in many of Austin Prep’s runs in a 13-2 win against Marianapolis in five innings.

A pair of RBI from Evan Engel (3-for-4) and two runs apiece from Ben Maiorano (2-for-3, two steals) and Jayden Hayes drove the Holliston offense as it defeated Norwood, 5-2, in Tri-Valley League action.

In a Bay State Conference game, Max Boehm had a complete game, allowing two hits while striking out eight, as Wellesley blanked Milton 8-0.

Jake Horwitz went 2-for-4 with an RBI double and a run, and Brian Flynn got the save, striking out two over three shutout innings of relief as Norwell edged Sandwich 3-2 in the South Shore League. … Hayden Hatch went 3-for-4, while Dustin Ayer (2-for-4) hit a walk-off single to give Rockland (1-0) a 7-6 come-from-behind win over East Bridgewater.

Dillon Waterhouse fired a no-hitter, striking out four and walking one as North Attleboro defeated Stoughton 4-0 in the Hockomock League. … Jack Peabody struck out four and allowed three hits and one walk over six innings of work as Mansfield edged Oliver Ames, 1-0. … Dylan Keegan drove in a pair of runs for Taunton as part of a well-balanced, 5-4 win over Attleboro.

Landon Cardoza struck out eight and walked two while giving up four hits over four innings pitched as Bishop Stang (2-0) bested Cardinal Spellman 11-1 in the Catholic Central League. Nolan Donaldson went 2-for-2 with three RBI.

Jack Lee batted 3-for-3 with a homer, double, two RBI, two runs and two stolen bases to power Woburn over Stoneham, 6-1, in Middlesex League action. … In the Tri-Valley League, Brody Barrett (seven innings, four hits, one earned run, eight strikeouts) dazzled to get Millis to extra innings before Andrew Morse (walk-off hit, one inning pitched, win) closed the door on a 2-1 win over Dover-Sherborn.

Boys lacrosse

In nonleague action, Jayson Kelleher (hat trick) and Colin Carfagna (two goals, assist) propelled things offensively, as Bridgewater-Raynham (1-1) held on for a 9-6 victory over Apponequet. … Sal Brogna netted a hat trick to boost St. Mary’s (Lynn) to a 9-7 win over Triton. Brendan Forrest  notched his first win as head coach for the Spartans.

In a Mayflower League game, Vincent Cuzzi (two goals), Ryan Chute (two goals) and Sean Pechulis (one goal) led Southeastern to a 5-3 victory over Old Colony. …Ben Tondorf (four goals, assist) and Mario LaRosa (goal, five assists) each had banner games as South Shore Voke recorded a 13-2 victory over Westport.

Hat tricks from both Pat Connors and Mike Galligan anchored Quincy/North Quincy in a 14-9 Patriot League win over Whitman-Hanson.

Connor O’Neill buried the winning goal for Pingree (his second of the game) to lift his team to an 8-7 NEPSAC win over Thayer in double overtime. Henry Card scored two goals as well for Pingree.

In the Cape Ann League, Vinn Winter (six goals) and Finn Wright (five goals, four assists) dominated the play, as Ipswich cruised to a 17-5 romp of Amesbury.

Girls lacrosse

In the Mayflower Athletic Conference, Ava Miller (six goals) and Kayla Nota (four goals) each lit up the scoreboard for South Shore Voke (1-2) during a 15-3 victory over Bristol Aggie.

Liz Leander sniped five goals, while Mia Radzik netted a pair of goals herself as Rockland improved to 3-0 with a 10-4 victory over nonleague opponent Fontbonne. … Karina Bosco tallied five goals and 11 draw controls as Dighton-Rehoboth (1-1) defeated Norton, 16-7. … Ava Nason scored five goals for St. Mary’s (Lynn) (1-2) in a 14-5 victory over Haverhill.

Reese Bromby (five goals) and Avery Tahnk (four goals) led the attack as Newburyport pulled away for a 16-7 win over North Reading in the Cape Ann League.

Caroline Connolly did it all with five goals to go with eight draw controls, as Hingham rolled to a 18-2 victory over Quincy in the Patriot League.

Boys volleyball

Zach Medjamia led things offensively with 15 kills, while Hank Schwartz chipped in with 32 assists to propel Andover during a 3-1 victory over Merrimack Valley Conference rival Dracut. … Liam Quinn (13 kills, four aces) and Ridty Tauch (11 kills, three aces) led the attack as Chelmsford (1-0) downed reigning conference champion Methuen in straight sets, 3-0.

Zach O’Donnell dished 48 assists, primarily finding Finn Bell (32 kills, four blocks) as Wayland edged out BC High, 3-2, in nonleague play. O’Donnell, Bell and Mason Lee combined for 11 aces as well.
