2025 Maserati MC-20 Cielo is the true Italian Stallion

Spring is here and Maserati is ready for fun in the sun! As a staple to Grasso’s Garage, Maserati’s endless fleet of Italian-inspired vehicles adjoined with parent company FCA and Stellantis are remarkable. In Grasso’s Garage, we take off to enjoy the Florida sunshine for a weekend test of the 2025 Maserati MC-20 Cielo.

Wrapped in an exclusive three-layer Giallo Genio paint, and an outstanding amount of carbon fiber flare, the MC-20 is a standout in any crowd. Its 2-door supercar inspired exterior defines what consumers in the upscale luxury market desire, while the price sets itself in the category with other high-end manufacturers.

Riding on 20” birdcage style glossy-black diamond-cut wheels paired with blue brake calipers, our MC-20 tester is optioned to the max with over $90K in upgrades. The exclusive paint upgrade was $10K alone while the carbon fibre upgrades topped $68K. We noticed a high premium sound upgrade of $4K which was a great addition to the almost perfect supercar. Upgraded interior alcantara seating was also witnessed as well as 6-way power sport heated seats for an additional $3K.

Powering the MC-20 is a 3.0L twin-turbo V6 engine producing an earth shattering 621 horsepower and 538 lb-ft of torque. Pairing with the 90-degree V6, to that of Formula 1 race car engine styles was a 8-speed dual clutch transmission. Our Cielo came in with a 0-60 time of 2.8 seconds and a top speed of 202 miles per hour.

Although a translation is not needed, Cielo in Italian is defined as Sky. With an open top, the Maserati MC-20 Cielo is the perfect supercar to experience in 2025 with its sculpted aerodynamic shape fit for efficiency and styling. Similar to other tested supercars in Grasso’s Garage and competition like the Chevrolet Corvette, Mercedes AMG GT63, Porsche 911 as well as the untested Ferrari GTB, Maserati has that added Italian flare that keeps consumers laser focused on their brand, which separates them from the rest. With the Maserati MC-20 Cielo, you won’t have to worry about mass-production and seeing this supercar everywhere in town nor neighbors having a similar configuration like other brands.
