2025 Subaru Forester gets better and better RUN DATE: 2/1/2025

For Subaru lovers abound, the Forester is no secret. Its long history boasts tremendous loyalty and for good reason. In 2025, experiencing the Subaru Forester Touring, which packs a $40K price tag, boasts excellent storage space, and that classic Subaru-vibe consumers have come to enjoy.

While the shape of the Forester is not your normal SUV with a sloped-shaped rear end, instead maximizing the cargo space, Subaru delivers that brand popular boxy-shaped SUV fit for all consumers. While the $40K price tag keeps consumers coming back for more, the Forester Touring really boasts a lot of other areas that bring a ton of demand. For dog-lovers, and much of Subaru’s clientele, it’s all about space for the outdoors. Hiking, Biking, Walking and dog-trailing, is just a few to say the least that Forester lovers have come to enjoy due to that boxy shape, along with moderate ground clearance.

Powering the fan-favorite Forester, is the BOXER-style 2.5-liter DOHC engine, producing 180 horsepower and 178 lb-ft of torque with a Lineratronic CVT transmission. Our 3,664 pound tester was wrapped in River Rock Pearl, and had a towing capacity of 1,500 pounds. An 11.6-inch Subaru Starlink infotainment system was present similar to other models in the fleet, and was easy to use and very bright and nicely positioned. Safety, technology and standard features are just a few of the reasons the $40K Forester is also popular. Although mostly snow-bound cities consumers thrive on the Subaru brand as a whole, we notice more and more dealerships across the US proving Subaru is here to stay.

For Subaru lovers, the Forester is no secret. Its unique design provides so many uses to the consumer, proving its long existence in the fleet. Whether and outdoorsy person, your typical commuter, family of four, or even retired, the Forester certainly gives a big-bang for a reasonable buck.
