Ramsey County probation officers to announce vote count on strike authorization Tuesday

Ramsey County probation officers and Teamsters Local 320, the union representing more than 200 probation officers in the county, on Tuesday will announce results of a vote for strike authorization and what next steps they may take.

Teamsters Local 320 represents 213 probation officers in the county.

There are four matters leading to the vote, according to union officials. They are wage parity with Hennepin County probation officers; overtime parity with other correctional institution personnel in Ramsey County; and probation officer seniority issues.
