Vikings vs. Rams: A wild card rematch goes the other way
Members of the Pioneer Press sports staff who cover the Vikings make their picks for this week’s regular-season wild card playoff game against the Los Angeles Rams in Glendale, Ariz.:
DANE MIZUTANI
Vikings 27, Rams 20: Throughout this improbable run, the Vikings have shown the ability to respond in the face of adversity. They will do it once again with their playoff lives on the line.
JOHN SHIPLEY
Vikings 24, Rams 21: While they looked dead after last Sunday’s loss in Detroit, the Vikings are still one of the best three or four teams in the NFL. It’s hard to see them losing a wild card game.
CHARLEY WALTERS
Vikings 35, Rams 27: It’s hard to imagine Justin Jefferson, Jordan Addison and T.J. Hockenson being shut down for two straight weeks. And the Rams beating the Vikings two straight games.
