
South Boston crash into building leaves 1 dead, 2 injured
One pedestrian is dead and two people are injured after a crash in South Boston’s Andrew Square.
The crash is under active investigation by Boston Police Homicide and the Fatal Collision Team.
Officers responded to reports of a pedestrian hit by a motor vehicle at 9:24 a.m. at 600 Dorchester Ave., according to the police.
Boston Police found an adult male pedestrian with injuries following the collision. After being transported to the hospital, the victim was declared dead, police said.
The vehicle also struck a building, and both the driver and passenger of the vehicle were injured. They have been transported to a hospital and are in critical condition, according to Boston Police Department.
