EAST BOSTON
The senior center back played a key role in five shutouts, finishing with a plus-minus of +16 on the season. Acosta netted a goal and an assist offensively as the Jets reached the Div. 4 semifinals. The two-time Boston Public School All-Star and as an Eastern Mass. All-Star selection boasts a 3.94 GPA and hopes to major in economics while continuing to play soccer.

COHASSET
The South Shore League’s Most Valuable Player sniped 27 goals as the Skippers captured the Div. 4 soccer championship with a thrilling 3-2 victory over Lynnfield. Askjaer concludes his career with 75 goals and 25 assists and owns the program record for single-season goals. The senior is a member of the National Honor Society, and also has a strong track & field portfolio.
WILLIAM BALTAS
ST. JOHN’S (SHREWSBURY)
Baltas finished the year with 16 goals and eight assists, leading St. John’s (Shrewsbury) back to the Div. 1 championship game. He was selected to the United Soccer Coaches All-State Team, and named an Eastern Mass. All-Star. The Catholic Conference All-Star is a member of the NAL NEFC U19 club team.
GAVIN BLAKE
NORWELL
The South Shore League Player of the Year had a team-high 16 goals to go with 16 assists, helping Norwell to the Div. 3 soccer final again. During the Final Four he made a penalty kick with a broken foot to send the Clippers to the title bout. Blake has a 3.4 GPA and is an avid member of his community. The senior founded Caritas Community Club, which provides donations of clothes and essentials to people in need.

MANCHESTER-ESSEX
A two-time team captain, Bothwell set a school scoring record this past season with 29 goals and 10 assists. He was the Cape Ann League (Baker Division) Player of the Year and led the Hornets to a league title and the second round of the Div. 4 tournament.
NICO BRADLEY
NEWTON SOUTH
Bradley made the All-State team and was an Eastern Mass. All-Star after finishing with eight goals and five assists in 2024. He was a Dual County League All-Star for the second time. The senior is also a member of the school’s track and field program, and enjoys golf and fishing as well.
DANNY BURKE
HOLLISTON
After finishing with nine goals and eight assists as a senior, Burke was named Tri-Valley League (Large) MVP. The midfielder was team MVP after propelling the Panthers to the Div. 3 Elite Eight. He was later chosen to the Eastern Mass. All-Star team. During the rest of the school year, he plays for Holliston’s basketball program. Burke maintains a 3.71 GPA and is a three-year member of the National Honor Society. He will play college soccer at Bates.
ZACH CAISSE
BISHOP FEEHAN
Caisse shattered a series of school records at Bishop Feehan this past fall, scoring the most goals in a single-season (23). He finished with 64 overall for his career to finishing as the program’s all-time leading scorer. The forward added seven assists during the season. During his spare time, Caisse enjoys hanging with friends and playing basketball. He participates with the Rhode Island SURF club soccer team as well.
LUKE CHURCHILL
OLIVER AMES
Churchill propelled the Tigers to their third consecutive Div. 2 soccer championship with a 1-0 overtime victory against Hingham. The defensive midfielder finished with a pair of goals to go with 11 assists, and was the Hockomock League’s Most Valuable Player. Churchill plays basketball, golfs, and bikes in his off-time. He is a member of the NEFC U19 MLS Next club team.
SHANE CROWLEY
PEMBROKE
The senior center midfielder was the Patriot League Fisher Division’s MVP, and selected as an Eastern Mass. All-Star. A two-time captain, Crowley is a high honor roll student. A member of the Boston Bolts U19 NAL team as well, Crowley will continue his soccer journey at Union College.
CHARLIE CURMI
MEDFIELD
The Tri-Valley League MVP led the conference in scoring (26 goals, 13 assists) for a Medfield team which embarked on the longest playoff run in school history before bowing out in the Div. 3 Final Four. The senior striker leaves the program as its all-time leading goal scorer, and a three-time Tri-Valley League All-Star. Curmi serves as the school’s National Honor Society Co-President, among numerous other student organizations. All this, while also playing for Medfield’s basketball and lacrosse teams. He will attend Villanova.
MATTHEW DROGGITIS
ST. JOHN’S PREP
One of the Catholic Conference’s most electrifying keepers, Droggitis finished with 16 wins in 2024, nine of which were shutouts. Only a junior, he has already recorded 20 blank sheets in his career. Droggitis is also a member of the basketball and volleyball teams at SJP, and enjoys playing video games with his friends. During the offseason, he competes with IFA New England U17 MLS Next.
RICK DA MOURA
DEARBORN
Known for his abilities to jump between the striker and center back positions, Da Moura led Dearborn to an appearance in the Div. 5 state final. He was the Boston City League Player of the Year, and selected as an Eastern Mass. All-Star, ending the season with 12 goals. Da Moura is also a track star with multiple first place finishes across a series of short-distance races. He participated in the 2024 Junior Olympics, finishing second in the 200-meter dash at 21.9 seconds.
JACK FIELDER
MASCONOMET
After registering 19 goals and three assists this fall, Fielder was named an All-New England player, and chosen to the All-State team. The Holy Cross commit shouldered Masconomet during its run to the Div. 2 Round of 16, concluding his high school tenure with 33 goals and 15 assists. A high honor roll student and member of the National Honor Society, Fielder is a four-time DECA state qualifier. The three-time Northeastern Conference All-Star also participates with the FC Stars, and took part in the ECNL National Selection Game last May.
MATTHEW GORDON
NATICK
The Bay State Conference (Carey Division) MVP served as captain in 2024. He racked up 11 goals and added nine assists, good enough to be selected as an Eastern Mass. All-Star. Gordon has made the honor roll every year during high school, and is a National Honor Society member. On top of that, he plays basketball for the Redhawks and has been named captain of Natick’s ultimate frisbee team after leading the program to two Div. 2 state titles, once as the Defensive Player of the Year.

BEDFORD
The attacking midfielder had seven goals while dishing out seven assists. Goss was Dual County League (Foley Division) MVP for the second time, and named to the All-State team for a second instance. His weighted GPA is 4.8. Goss is a member of the Select Metro North ‘06/’07 NL club team, and plans to study chemical engineering in college.
COLE HENSCHKE
CONCORD-CARLISLE
After returning to the MIAA after a stint with MLS Next in 2023, Henschke helped lead Concord-Carlisle back to the Div. 1 Elite Eight. The center back was named to the All-State team, named an Eastern Mass. All-Star, and also selected to the Dual County League’s First Team. The senior is committed to playing soccer at Denison University.

LOWELL
A two-time Merrimack Valley Conference selection who was named to the Eastern Mass. All-Star team, the senior striker netted 13 goals and seven assists. He scored in the team’s 1-0 thrilling win over Central Catholic. Born in Tanzania, the three-year starter was a major reason the Red Raiders went 18-0 in the regular season, won the league title and made a trip to the Division 1 state tournament.

BC HIGH
The senior keeper earned Catholic Conference MVP honors and was chosen to the All-State team for a second time after powering BC High to an appearance in the Div. 1 Sweet 16. He’s made the high honor roll 13 times, and is a member of the National Honor Society. McConville plays club soccer for the Boston Bolts NAL SS U19 team.
VINCENT McGANN
CHELMSFORD
The Merrimack Valley Conference’s leading goal-scorer (20) for the third time was selected as an Eastern Mass. All-Star. His efforts were critical in the Lions making it back to the Div. 1 playoffs. McGann is undecided on his college plans though he plans on playing soccer.
BRAYAN MEDINA
REVERE
Medina was a Greater Boston League All-Star for the third time following a breakout season as a center defensive midfielder. The senior was an Eastern Mass. All-Star . Medina is a three-time varsity captain with a 3.3 GPA, and likes to box when he has the opportunity.
JACK MILLWARD
WAKEFIELD
The striker paced the Middlesex League in goals with 29, and also added five assists. He was the Freedom Division’s Most Valuable Player and a league All-Star. A captain with Wakefield’s soccer and basketball teams, Millward is an honor roll student, and plays club soccer with Team NSSA Elite U17.
RYAN MOITOSO
DIGHTON-REHOBOTH
The South Coast Conference MVP had 12 goals and six assists for Dighton-Rehoboth. For the second straight season, the center attacking midfielder and his fellow teammates made a trip to the Div. 3 Final Four. The senior is a member of the school’s wrestling team, and owns his own landscaping business. He is bound for Bridgewater State next where he will play soccer.
ALEXANDRO MOREIRA
BROCKTON
A skilled player with the capability to play offensively as a right winger or in the defensive end as a right back, the senior propelled Brockton to the Div. 1 Round of 16. The four-year varsity player is a member of the Hammer FC club soccer team. Moreira likes to go to the gym, and also lists volunteering and photography as his favorite hobbies.
EOGHAN MURPHY
LEXINGTON
The Middlesex League All-Star turned in 14 goals and tacked on four assists as Lexington made the Div. 1 Sweet 16. He was an Eastern Mass. All-Star, and named to the All-New England roster. The senior has also played club soccer with MLS Next as a member of the Boston Bolts, winning a National Academy Championship in the process. Murphy’s journey will take him overseas next as he will be playing soccer at Ireland’s University College Dublin in the near future.
JACOB RIKER
HINGHAM
Riker finished with a 19-3-1 record as a goaltender in 2024, surrendering just eight goals all season, finishing with 17 clean sheets. The Hingham captain lifted the Harbormen to an appearance in the Div. 2 championship, and was the Patriot League (Keenan Division) MVP. The senior was also named an Eastern Mass. All-Star for the second time. Riker is undecided on his collegiate plans at this time, but will be playing soccer when he makes his ultimate choice.
FINN RODGER
NORTH READING
The senior midfielder sniped nine goals this season but also dished out 22 assists. He was a Cape Ann League Player of the Year and selected to the Eastern Mass. All-Star team. Rodger is a member of the National Honor Society, and is a leader for North Reading’s lacrosse program.
GARRETT SCAGLIARINI
FRANKLIN
Scagliarini buried 15 goals to go with 15 assists, earning Hockomock League MVP honors. The senior finished third all-time in points at Franklin with 55 overall, and with the most assists (28) in school history. The three-year starter was selected to the Eastern Mass. All-Star team and named to the All-State roster. Scagliarini boasts a 3.8 GPA, and is committed to Endicott College for soccer.
GAVIN SOUSA
NEWTON SOUTH
Sousa was a Dual County League All-Star while being chosen to the Eastern Mass. All-Star team. He finished with a pair of goals and added nine assists, helping him earn All-State recognition. During the offseason, Sousa plays club soccer with NEFC. He will be playing soccer at Saint Anselm.
JAMO VELEZ
CONCORD-CARLISLE
Velez was an All-New England selection after guiding the Patriots back to the Div. 1 Elite Eight. The forward was the Dual County League’s Most Valuable Player and also earned Eastern Mass. All-Star accolades. Velez plays for the Bolts U20 USL club soccer team in his spare time, and is a two-time recipient of the National Latin Exam Gold Medal.
CAMERON WALTY
WEYMOUTH
The senior striker accounted for 18 goals and 10 assists this past campaign and was selected as a Bay State Conference MVP. Walty was also chosen as an All-New England player and an Eastern Mass. All-Star. With 38 total goals, he owns the school record for most in a career. Outside of BSC play, Walty plays for the Boston Bolts 2006/2007 NAL club team.
RORY ZAMPESE
MARBLEHEAD
The senior keeper was the Northeastern Conference Player of the Year. He recorded nine shutouts, finishing with 29 for his career, was selected to the All-State team and as an Eastern Mass. All-Star. Zampese is a member of the National Honor Society, and a key cog with Marblehead’s baseball program as a pitcher and third baseman. He is committed to playing soccer at Skidmore College.
