Class notes

The Cambridge Athletic Hall of Fame will hold its fifth induction and dinner ceremony on May 18, 2025 at the American Legion Post 440, 295 California St., Newton. Dinner is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m.

The Massachusetts Basketball Coaches Association (MBCA) announced the newest inductees to its Hall of Fame along with annual award winners. The HOF class consists of Richard Gifford, Bon Crook and John Willis. They will be feted on Nov. 24 at the Hogan Center on the campus of the College of the Holy Cross. Cocktail hour starts at 4 p.m., with the dinner and ceremony to follow at 5.
