Thursday’s high school roundup/scores: Elizabeth Kowlski nets four goals in Whitman-Hanson win

Elizabeth Kowlski scored four times and Madeleine Fitzgerald netted two more as Whitman-Hanson rolled to a 6-0 girls soccer victory over Pembroke.

In the Cape Ann League, Allie Lanciani and Pia Sfikas tallied a goal each as North Reading defeated Lynnfield, 2-0.

Caitlin Nugent scored a goal 15 minutes into the second half while keeper Liv Whelan recorded the shutout as Braintree silenced Framingham, 1-0, in a Bay State Conference game.

In the Patriot League, Brielle Howard and Abby Chambers scored while Amelia Finley collected her third shutout of the season as Plymouth North blanked Plymouth South 2-0.

In a nonleague game, Sevilla Coffin netted a goal and added a pair of assists to lead Newburyport to a 5-1 victory over Essex Tech. … In Mayflower League action, Alexis D’Arcy scored the lone goal and Ally Johnson recorded the shutout to boost Blue Hills past Diman, 1-0.

Courtnee Pickles recorded a hat trick and added an assist as Methuen blanked Lowell, 7-0 in a Merrimack Valley Conference contest.

Boys soccer

In the Hockomock Conference, Garrett Scagliairini netted two goals and had one assist as Franklin defeated North Attleboro, 3-1.

Jose Lopez, Josue Guevara, Francisco Jair Santos, and Gabriel Dos Reis all found the net as Somerville topped Medford, 4-1, in a Greater Boston league matchup.

Nyzaiah Pacheco scored two goals and one assist as Westport beat Atlantis Charter in a Mayflower Conference matchup, 3-1. … In a Hockomock League game, Colin Nolan tallied a hat trick as King Philip shut out Foxboro, 4-0.

Field hockey

In the Middlesex Conference, Rachel Egan scored four goals as Watertown silenced Wakefield, 7-0.

Volleyball

In the Hockomock League, Julia Leonardo finished with 11 kills and 12 digs while Addie Shelton added 12 kills as Attleboro swept Franklin, 3-0.

Football

Jake Gilbert ran for 104 yards and a touchdown as Essex Tech defeated Whittier 20-8 in the Commonwealth Athletic Conference.

In nonleague play, Mason Nash rushed 14 times for 81 yards and three scores as Abington won 26-12 over Silver Lake.

Class notes

Tewksbury announced the Athletic Hall of Fame Class 2024 inductees. The ceremony will take place on Friday, November 29 at Long Meadow Golf Club, 165 Havilah St., Lowell.

The inductees are William Piscione (coach, track and football), Leo DiRocco (class, softball), the 1996 Super Bowl winning football team, David “DJ” Bettencourt (baseball), Nikki Cunha Palangi (track, soccer), Kevin Dick (football, basketball, lacrosse), David French (football, wrestling, track), Courtney O’Brien Harrison (field hockey, basketball, track), Larry Rodgers (football, wrestling baseball) and Thomas Sullivan (football and baseball).
