‘Selling Sunset’ star Chrishell Stause had surgery for ruptured breast implants
Chrishell Stause has opened up about undergoing surgery after her breast implants ruptured.
The “Selling Sunset” star shared on social media that the silicone breasts she had implanted 15 years ago had disintegrated.
“Earlier this year, I had a full body scan and learned both of my breast implants were ruptured,” she wrote in the caption of an Instagram video also featuring Beverly Hills-based plastic surgeon, Josef Hadeed.
“My first thought was fear, thinking about having to undergo surgery and if the rupture would lead to any complications. But very happy I found @josefhadeedmd, and had an amazing experience with him and his team.”
Stause, 43, revealed in the video that she was “surprised” to learn about the ruptured implants, because she “didn’t feel any symptoms.”
She said doctors were able to remove all the silicone from her “vintage implants” She shared her experience to raise awareness among people with older implants to get them “checked out.”
“If you do make that choice for yourself, it’s so important to stay on top of your health – I know many people could be living with this and have no idea,” the actress and real estate agent wrote. “I want to be fully open and transparent about my experience in the hopes it could help anyone else going through this.”
Stause, the ex-wife of “This Is Us” star Justin Hartley, will appear in the third season of “The Traitors USA,” which is expected launch on Peacock in January 2025.
