Former Patriot Joe Andruzzi’s foundation to honor ‘Game Changers’

Boston PR firm executive George Regan is headlining a list of honorees who will be recognized by former New England Patriot Joe Andruzzi’s charitable foundation for their longstanding support of cancer patients.

Other “Game Changers” who will be honored at the Joe Andruzzi Foundation’s upcoming fundraising gala include donors and volunteers Ken and Nicole Rosa, David and Karen Howe of the Derenzo Charitable Foundation, New England Cancer Specialists, and CVS Health.

The Andruzzi Foundation — founded by the former Patriot lineman, himself a cancer survivor, and his wife Jen Andruzzi — provides financial assistance to cancer patients and their families.

“Every one of us knows someone who has been touched by cancer, but what we may not see is the struggle so many families face, not only dealing with a diagnosis of a loved one, but the financial stress that comes with it,” Joe Andruzzi said.

“For 17 years, we’ve worked to be the light in these families’ lives, to provide financial assistance to our neighbors who are fighting all types of cancers,” he added. “While the Gala is our signature fundraising event of the year, it’s more than that; it’s a night that inspires and uplifts and keeps us all moving towards our goal of supporting the ever-growing needs of New England families.”
