Red Sox lineups: Triston Casas, Masataka Yoshida back after sitting Monday

After sitting out Monday while the Red Sox opted for a heavily right-handed lineup, Triston Casas and Masataka Yoshida are both set to start Tuesday against the Baltimore Orioles.

Casas has been struggling at the plate recently and Yoshida got squeezed out so Tyler O’Neill could serve as the designated hitter against the left-hander. Both players will return to their usual positions against Orioles right-hander Albert Suarez (7-5, 3.49), though the top of Boston’s order will remain consistent with Jarren Duran leading off, Rafael Devers batting second and O’Neill in the cleanup spot.

Wilyer Abreu is also back in the lineup and will bat third, and Ceddanne Rafaela will start at shortstop in place of Trevor Story, who is getting a day off as he works his way back after being activated over the weekend.

Kutter Crawford (8-13, 4.08) is scheduled to start for the Red Sox, who come into the day trailing the Minnesota Twins by just three games in the American League Wild Card race.
