Thursday Pickorama
If it’s the first full week of September, it could only mean one thing – Thursday Pickorama is back.
After hovering around 60-62 percent for much of the season, we relied on a late push to get the percentaege to 66.4 percent. Parity has certainly made things more difficult than it did in the past, but we’ll continue to strive for improvement.
In the words of Jim Harbaugh, let’s attack the 2024 season with a passion unknown to mankind.
CENTRAL CATHOLIC over Franklin: Raiders need this one badly as the road doesn’t get any easier in the upcoming weeks.
King Philip over WALPOLE: Defending Div. 2 state champions extend winning streak to 14 in the Lee Bowl.
XAVERIAN over Bishop Feehan: Hawks open defense of their Div. 1 state title in style.
ST. JOHN’S PREP over Marshfield: Big start for an Eagle team with high expectations as usual.
Mashpee over DENNIS-YARMOUTH: Juicy matchup between two of the best the Cape has to offer.
NEEDHAM over Milton: Rockets soar in the season opener in a battle of Bay State Conference teams coming off big seasons.
Foxboro over SCITUATE: Defending Div. 5 state champion open with a big nonleague road victory over a very good Sailors squad.

Norwell over COHASSET: Talented Clippers team gets the nod on the road against an SSL foe.
CATHOLIC MEMORIAL over Cardinal Hayes (NY): Knights unleash offensive weapons against visitors from the Big Apple.
