Patriots fill 17-man practice squad, signing two linebackers including ex-Raven
The Patriots’ 17-man practice squad is now full after the team signed linebackers Joe Giles-Harris and Yvandy Rigby.
Giles-Harris, 27, was released by the Patriots on Aug. 27 during roster cuts. The Duke product first joined the Patriots last August and spent the 2023 season on the practice squad. Giles-Harris went undrafted in 2019 and played 17 games with the Jaguars and Bills from 2019 to 2022, compiling 26 tackles, one sack, two tackles for loss and five QB hits.
Rigby, 24, signed with the Ravens as an undrafted free agent out of Temple in May. The 6-foot-1, 235-pound defender ran a 4.62-second 40-yard dash at his pro day in March. He registered 68 tackles with 1.5 tackles for loss, one pass breakup and one fumble recovery in 2023.
