Uruguay July 2024: Fiat (+74.1%) catches up on Chevrolet (-26.4%)

Fiat sales are up 74.1% year-on-year in July.

New light vehicle sales in Uruguay edge up 4% year-on-year in July to 4,866 units. This means the year-to-date tally is now up 8.2% to 33,417. Chevrolet (-26.4%) continues to hold the brands top spot despite a severe year-on-year fall. Fiat (+74.1%) on the other hand soars to 13.6% share, 51 units below Chevrolet for the month. Suzuki (-32.2%) is also hit hard in third place ahead of Renault (+23.1%) in outstanding shape at #4. Below a retreating Hyundai (-4.6%), Volkswagen (+15.6%) shines in 6th position. Having smashed all records last month at #2 overall, BYD (+1011.1%) is down to #9 but still flies off year-on-year. Toyota (+1.6%) rounds out the Top 10.
