Fun at the beach and in the water: PHOTOS

At least two events on Saturday showed that doing some good could be as easy as a day at the beach.

Triangle Inc., a Malden-based organization that, according to its mission statement, “empowers people with disabilities and their families to enjoy rich, fulfilling lives” hosted its “Beach:Ability” event at East Boston’s Constitution Beach. It made sure that anyone can enjoy the beach on a summer day.

In South Boston, Swim Across America hosted a 2-mile swim on Pleasure Bay off Castle Island. The program raises money for cancer research.
