Cardi B announces third pregnancy after filing for divorce
Cardi B is pregnant with her third child amid news of her divorce filing with Offset.
The “I Like It” rapper made the announcement in an Instagram post on Thursday, where she showed off her growing baby bump in a red feathered gown.
“With every ending comes a new beginning! I am so grateful to have shared this season with you, you have brought me more love, more life and most of all renewed my power,” Cardi wrote, addressing her unborn child in the photo caption.
She continued, “Reminded me that I can have it all! You’ve reminded me that I never have to choose between life, love, and my passion! I love you so much and can not wait for you to witness what you helped me accomplish, what you pushed me to do!”
“It’s so much easier taking life’s twists, turns and test laying down, but you, your brother and your sister have shown me why it’s worth it to push through,” she wrote concluding the post.
This announcement comes a day after the “Bodak Yellow” artist filed for divorce from her husband Offset after six years of marriage. She has not said whether Offset is the father of this pregnancy.
Her rep tells People the reason for the split is “Not based on cheating rumors, but rather has been a long time coming.”
