State Patrol seeking pickup truck possibly involved in Burnsville hit-and-run

The Minnesota State Patrol released new information about a hit-and-run incident that seriously injured a man in Burnsville earlier this month.

On Monday, the State Patrol said they believe the driver of a black Dodge Ram pickup truck that was likely a model from 2006 to 2009 was involved in the July 17 crash. The truck likely has damage on the front driver’s side.

The pedestrian, a 24-year-old Savage man, was hospitalized with serious but non-life-threatening injuries, said Lt. Michael Lee, a State Patrol public information officer.

The crash happened just after 2:30 a.m. July 17 near Minnesota 13 and Washburn Avenue.

“We need your help finding the truck involved in a hit-and-run that left a pedestrian seriously hurt earlier this month,” the State Patrol posted on its Facebook page.

The agency asked anyone with information to call 651-539-1151.
