Slamming judiciary
One would have to be living under a rock to not know that for the past several years, Democrats and their coat holders in the liberal media have relentlessly blasted Donald Trump for his so-called “attacks” on the judiciary and individual judges and justices. We have been told breathlessly and repeatedly that such attacks are not only reckless and irresponsible, but downright dangerous. Over and over and over again, we were told that these attacks were corrosive to, and undermining of, one of our most cherished democratic institutions. Democrats and the anti-Trump media publicly and sanctimoniously held themselves out as ardent defenders and champions of our judiciary, claiming that they were doing so as a matter of principle.
Yet, in the wake of the Supreme Court’s decision on presidential immunity and Judge Aileen Cannon’s decision regarding Jack Smith and the classified documents case, these same people are now themselves viciously attacking the judiciary and individual judges and justices. Because the decisions inured to Trump’s political benefit, and strengthened his electoral hand, it suddenly became OK for desperate Democrats to level broadsides against the judiciary. And just like that, principles conveniently gave way to partisan politics.
If nothing else, this latest display of rank hypocrisy and grotesque double standards by our friends on the left has confirmed that what famed writer W. Somerset Maugham said many years ago is as true today as it was back then: “The most useful thing about a principle is that it can always be sacrificed to expediency.” Indeed.

Age limit
With President Joe Biden making the proper decision for the good of the country to drop out of the presidential race this is further proof we need to set an age limit for candidates to run for president of the United States. If you have to be 35 years old to run for president, then anyone over 70 should not be allowed to run.

Harris on ticket
If Joseph Robinette Biden decides not to run for president, it should not be a given that Kamala Devi Harris takes the baton. Think back when the Democrats had their 11 Democratic debates in 2019 – 2020 and Harris was one of the first to drop out. Vice President Harris was a complete failure being assigned to the border crisis by President Biden and her biggest achievement is setting a new record for the most tie-breaking votes cast by a vice president in the history of the Senate. If Biden decides not to run for the presidency it is a real tough decision for the Democrats at the Democratic convention on what is the right thing to do for their constituents.
