The much-sought couple of the 21st century, Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello were seen spending time together. They went to the Copa America final on July 15 match, wherein Argentina defeated Columbia by 1-0.

In the internet-surfaced video, the duo were seen chatting and laughing together as they were enjoying the game together. Several media outlets tried to contact Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello; however, none of them responded.

This hangout came after the much-talked couple, dated briefly between 2019 and 2021, later rekindling their romance at Coachella in 2023. Although the rekindled romance was short-lived, the couple were seen together again in 2024.

In 2023, in an interview, the 27-year-old actress talked about her relationship with the actor, and said, “I think it’s known, I’m a fan. I think it’s helpful. I’m the kind of person—you can’t forbid things from me because I will want to do it more.”

Furthermore, in the same interview, while interacting with the host, she said, “It wasn’t even a decision, I think you are just kind of like, ‘Yeah this doesn’t really—it’s not a fit,’” she confirmed. “It doesn’t feel right. I think luckily, I was in a place in my life where it took me less time to realise that—and it took us both less time to be like, ‘This doesn’t feel right and we don’t need to try so hard to make it work.’ It’s all good. This is not feeling good, like ‘Let’s be friends, I love you. It’s all good, let’s move on.”

Shawn and Cabilla, after two years of an illustrated relationship, separated their ways through a post saying, “We’ve decided to end our romantic relationship but our love for one another as humans is stronger than ever. We started our relationship as best friends and will continue to be best friends.”
