Upcoming Housing and Land Use-Related Events:
Tuesday, July 16 at 9:30 a.m.: The NYC Landmarks Preservation Commission will hold a public hearing on multiple properties. More here.
Tuesday, July 16 at 6 p.m.: The city’s Dept. of Housing, Preservation and Development will hold a resource fair for homeowners at the YMCA in Castle Hill, Bronx. More here.
Wednesday, July 17 at 12 p.m.: Online voting kicks off for tenants at NYCHA’s Coney Island Houses, who are being asked to choose what funding model they want for their development. Tenants can vote online through Aug. 15 at 9 p.m.; in-person voting will also be available for the last 10 days of the voting period. More here.
Thursday, July 18 at 9 a.m.: Open Plans NY, New York Housing Conference and the Yes to Housing Coalition will host a webinar on parking mandates, how they impact affordable housing development and the proposal to remove them in the City of Yes for Housing Opportunity. More here.
Monday, July 22 at 1 p.m.: The City Planning Commission will hold a public review session; the agenda has not yet been posted. More here.
NYC Affordable Housing Lotteries Ending Soon: The New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD) are closing lotteries on the following subsidized buildings over the next week.
952 Bedford Avenue Apartments, Brooklyn, for households earning between $70,903 – $218,010
208 East Mosholu Parkway South, Bronx, for households earning between $104,640 – $181,740
1510 Broadway Apartments, Brooklyn, for households earning between $19,578 – $154,080
The MC aka 1100 Myrtle Avenue Apartments, Brooklyn, for households earning between $57,258 – $218,010
