The Renault Trafic is up to a record 2nd place in Slovenia in June.

4,783 new cars found a buyer in Slovenia in June, a slim 2.4% year-on-year improvement. For its part the year-to-date tally is up 3.8% to 28,337 halfway through the year. Renault (+60%) surges ahead to sign its first monthly win since January 2023 with a commanding 15.3% share. This is to be compared with the 10.7% it holds year-to-date. Traditional leader Volkswagen (-5.9%) is knocked down to 2nd place with 14.7% share. Skoda (-11.1%) disappoints in third position whereas Hyundai (+75.1%) soars to #4, toppling Toyota (-14.7%) and Peugeot (+4%). Below, Tesla (+19.4%), Suzuki (+28.8%) and Nissan (+138.9%) stand out.

Over in the models ranking, Renault monopolises the podium. The Clio (+60.2%) is up one spot on May to #1 and is now also #1 year-to-date. The Trafic (+625.9%) is up 7-fold year-on-year and three ranks on last month to a record-breaking 2nd place and the Captur (+89%) is down two spots on May to #3. The VW Tiguan (+24.5%) is the best of the rest at #4, distancing the Hyundai i20 (+172.7%) and Skoda Kodiaq (+75%). The Dacia Duster (+119.1%) also shines in the remainder of the Top 10.
