The Dacia Duster lodges a 7th consecutive win. Next generation pictured.

Data by our Central European market data partner CE Auto shows a Moldovan new car market up 7.6% year-on-year in May to 881 sales. This bring the year-to-date tally up 13.6% to 3,592 units. The Dacia Duster (-14.3%) manages a 7th consecutive monthly win with 8.2% share vs. 9.5% so far this year. The Toyota RAV4 (-13%) returns to the 2nd place it holds year-to-date while the Dacia Logan (+72.4%) rallies back up 7 spots on last month to #3 and now ranks #4 year-to-date vs. #7 over the Full Year 2023. The Kia Sportage (+11.1%) drops to #4 but is up year-on-year. The Skoda Scala returns to the Top 10 for the first time since last October at #7.
