Yemen Full Year 2023: Toyota at 93% share, Hilux at 41.8%

9,169 new light vehicles hit Yemeni roads in 2023, a 10.7% year-on-year uptick. Toyota (+19.3%) tightens its grip on the brands charts even further, managing an out-of-this-world 93% share. Lexus (+79.3%) is up two spots on 2022 to #2 with 2.2% share, meaning Toyota Motor holds 95.2% of the Yemeni market this year. Suzuki (+100%) and Land Rover (+35.9%) shine and Hino returns at #6. The Top 8 models are Toyotas, with the Hilux holding a suffocating 41.8% share above the Land Cruiser at 18.5% and the Land Cruiser Pickup at 16.9%. The Lexus LX is the best of the rest at #9 followed by the Lexus RX at #13.
