Lebanon Q1 2024: Toyota Land Cruiser and Nissan Patrol on top
The Toyota Land Cruiser holds 18.2% of the Lebanese market over Q1.
6,543 new vehicles hit Lebanese roads over Q1 2024. Toyota tightens its grip over the market and posts a fantastic 40.8% share. It is followed by Nissan at 31.5% vs. just 6.6% over the Full Year 2022. Mitsubishi is in freefall at 8.8% vs. 15.2% with Lexus and Kia rounding out the Top 5. Hyundai and GMC appear inside the Top 10, while Renault sinks from 7.6% share in 2022 to just 1% so far in 2024.
Model-wise, the Top 3 all score extravagant shares and account for a combined 44.9% of the market. The Toyota Land Cruiser leads the way at 18.2% followed by the Nissan Patrol at 13.4% and the Nissan Sunny at 13.3%. Far below is the Toyota Hilux, distancing the Mitsubishi L200 Diesel and Toyota Prado. The Nisan Kicks, Xterra and Toyota Fortuner make their way inside the Top 10.
