ADDISON ABREU

SEEKONK

The senior standout captured the 200-IM at the South Sectional, then won titles in both the 200-IM and 100-freestyle at the Div. 2 states. The four-time state champion holds six individual and two relay records at Seekonk. The honor roll student will swim at Bryant University in the fall.

LYDIA CRAFT

SEEKONK

The freshman won the Div. 2 state title in the 200-freestyle in a time of 1:54.02. Craft also took a second in both the 200-IM and 100-backstroke in the South sectionals. The high honor roll student trains in the offseason at the Gator Swim Club. She earned highest honors every quarter.

ZURI FERGUSON

ATTLEBORO

The junior won the 200-IM and the 100-backstroke at the South Sectionals. A week later, Ferguson doubled up at the Div. 1 States, winning the 100-freestyle and 100-backstroke. The high honors student with 3.9 GPA has committed to the University of Florida.

FEINING HUANG

SHARON

The sophomore went undefeated during the regular season, then won the 100-freestyle (53.09) and the 100-backstroke (57.96) at the South Sectionals. At the Div. 1 State, she captured the 200-freestyle (1:54.27) and 100-butterfly (57.79). In the offseason, Huang trains with the Blue Fish Swim Club.

KYLE KELLEY

NORTH READING/WILMINGTON

The senior captured the Cape Ann League title in the 200-freestyle and 500-freestyle then was the North Sectional champion in the 200-freestyle and 500-freestyle, before adding the 500-freestyle to her resume at the Div. 2 states. A Harvard Book Award and RPI Science Award recipient as well as the Seal of Biliteracy in Italian and National Italian Exam (gold), Kelley will major in physics and swim at Williams College.

ALANA LEEN

CONCORD-CARLISLE

The EMISCA Student Athlete Award of the Year recipient, the senior was the Dual County League and North Sectionals champion in the 200-IM and 100-backstroke. At the Div. 1 States, Leen won the 200-IM and took second in the 100-backstroke. The school record holder in seven events and a high honors student will continue her swimming at Villanova where she plans to major in computer science with a minor in math.

ANNIE MCLEAN

CANTON

The junior won the 50-freestyle at the Hockomock League championship. She won the 100-butterfly at the South Sectionals and was second in that event in the Div. 2 states. The honor roll student holds three individual school records. In the offseason, McLean trains with the Weymouth Waves.

EMMA MINER

NEWTON SOUTH

The sophomore won the 100-breaststroke (1:05.53) at the North Sectionals, then captured the 100-breaststroke a week later at the Div. 1 States, posting a winning time of 1:05.58. An all-Dual County League performer, Miner is the school record-holder in the 100-breaststroke. She possesses the top time in New England in the 15-16 age bracket in both the 100- and 200-breaststroke.

MAISEY O’DONNELL

CONCORD-CARLISLE

The junior was a key part of Concord-Carlisle’s season-long dominance.O’Donnell was the North Sectional diving champion (449.05), then went on to win the Div. 1 State title (468.55). A high honor roll student, O’Donnell is a National Honor Society inductee. In the offseason, O’Donnell trains with Boston Area Diving.

ELISABETH REILING

CONCORD-CARLISLE

The freshman made an immediate impact, setting a meet record in the 50-freestyle at the North Sectionals with a time of 24.78. She went on to win the 100-freestyle at the same meet (53.70). At the Div. 1 States, Reiling won the 50-freestyle (24.48) and was a part of two winning state relays (200-medley and 400-freestyle). An honors student, Reiling trains with the Thoreau Sharks and Team New England.

ANNA SZAFRAN

DUXBURY

The freshman was the South Sectional champion in the 50-freestyle and took a fifth in the 100-breaststroke. A week later in the Div. 2 State tournament, she placed in the top three in both the 50-freestyle and 100-freestyle. Szafran is an honor roll student and a member of the volleyball team.

200-FREESTYLE RELAY

CONCORD-CARLISLE

Beatrice Turrettini, Caroline Hollywood, Tess Ward and Alana Leen captured the 200-freestyle relay at the North Sectional in a time of 1:38.68, then took the Div. 1 State title a week later (1:40.60). Turrettini was second at both the sectional and states in the 500-freestyle, Hollywood took a top-10 in the state in the 50-freestyle and 100-butterfly, while the Bucknell-bound Ward was eighth in the 50-freestyle at the state meet.

200-MEDLEY RELAY

CONCORD-CARLISLE

The team of Lilly Soillis, Ainsley Haut, Reese Phillips, Elisabeth Reiling sailed through the postseason, winning the 200-medley relay at both the North Sectional (1:51.28) and Div. 1 States (1:50.26). The Carleton-bound Soillis was third in the Dual County League in the 100-backstroke and fifth in the state in the 100-backstroke. The Hamilton-bound Haut was the runner-up in the 100-breaststroke and qualified for the USA Speedo Sectionals, while Phillips took a seventh in the state in the 100-freestyle.

400-FREESTYLE RELAY

CONCORD-CARLISLE

Concord-Carlisle completed a clean sweep of the relays as the quartet of Beatrice Turrettini, Reese Phillips, Elisabeth Reiling and Alana Leen won the North Sectional (3:40.51) and Div. 1 States (3:36.82) in the 400-freestyle. Turrettini is a high honors student who trains at the North Shore Swim Club and Heritage Pool and Racquet Club, while Phillips is a member of the National Honor Society. Leen and Reiling both won individual events in both the North Sectional and Div. 1 State meet.
