Jaden Lovell fired a complete game one-hitter, striking out 12 and also hitting an RBI single to bring in Nick Capocci for the game’s only run as East Bridgewater edged Abington 1-0 in South Shore League play. … Joe Coughlan fanned 14 batters and gave up four hits over six innings while finishing with two hits and two RBI at the plate for Sandwich (7-2) in a 6-1 win over Cohasset. Matt Sullivan (two hits), Luke Morrison (two hits) and Jack Mulcahy (two hits, three RBI) had multi-hit games as well for the Blue Knights.
Kyle Gabaree allowed three hits in six innings, while Ayden Balter went 3-for-4 with two doubles as Wilmington (7-3) blanked Reading 4-0 in the Middlesex League.
Carter Lucido threw a 1-hitter as Georgetown (10-0) clinched a playoff spot and broke the school record for best start to a season with a 17-0 Cape Ann League win over Manchester-Essex. Hayden Ruth paced the offense with four RBI, while Oliver Thibeault chipped in with two hits and two RBI. … Dave Tracy gave up four hits and one earned run over seven innings, and Tyler Adamo went 2-for-3 with a single, home run and four RBI as Lynnfield topped Pentucket, 7-2. … Cormac Heney struck out 12 over six and two-thirds innings, and Cole Scanlon walked it off with a 2-for-3 performance for Hamilton-Wenham in a 2-1 win over Ipswich.

McKenzie Craig struck out two and allowed four earned runs over seven innings while helping her cause by going 2-for-4 with two RBI and a run scored as West Bridgewater (4-6) defeated Cardinal Spellman 6-4 in nonleague action… Karilyn Perez-Guerrero struck out eight and added a pair of hits at the plate while Anaya Bizcaino recorded four RBI to lead Cristo Rey Boston/Cathedral (2-2) to a 11-2 win over Randolph. … Abby Greene belted two home runs and drove in six runs in a 3-for-4 performance, while Alaina McGraw went 2-for-4 with three RBI as Norwell (5-3) routed Scituate, 14-1. … Abigail Dube doubled twice and singled, driving in two runs while Mackenzie Conlon and Taylynn Robinson finished with three RBI each as Middleboro (7-1) outslugged Durfee, 16-11.
In a South Shore League game, Maddie McDonald finished with three hits and a pair of RBI while Brenna Howley smashed a home run to lead Abington (11-0) to a 8-1 victory over East Bridgewater. … Taylor Soderberg (3-for-3, two doubles, two runs), Catherine Toomey (2-for-3, double, three runs) and Samantha Kearney (2-for-3, two runs) stepped up offensively, and Catherine Simms recorded eight strikeouts and scattered two hits as Cohasset won 12-0 over Sandwich in six innings.
Soline Fisher recorded a grand slam, a pair of doubles and struck out 10 as Arlington defeated Watertown, 15-2 in Middlesex League action. … Morgan Ryan went 2-for-3 with a single and double, had three RBI, three stolen bases, and scored twice as Burlington (6-5) defeated Winchester, 13-1.
Carly Smith struck out four and scattered eight hits and two earned runs while hitting a three-run home run and an RBI double as Tyngsboro (8-1) bested Billerica 16-3 in a Merrimack Valley Conference matchup.
Alyssa Collins struck out 13 and allowed one hit as Minuteman (8-1) beat Nashoba 9-0 in the Commonwealth Athletic Conference.
BOYS LACROSSE
Jayson Kelleher scored four goals and dished two assists to notch his 100th career point, while Brendan Rosher had three goals and three assists as Bridgewater-Raynham beat Newton South 13-5 in a nonleague matchup.
In a Cape Ann League game, Will Harrington finished with five goals and six assists to lift Ipswich past Hamilton-Wenham, 16-3.
Ryan Tighe scored three goals and supplied three assists, while Chase Akstin scored twice as Central Catholic defeated Chelmsford 7-5 in the Merrimack Valley Conference.
Willy Robinson and Dolan Floyd each finished with a hat trick as Scituate (9-2) defeated Plymouth South, 8-7 in Patriot League action.
Taylor Richardson (four goals, two assists), Kelin MacAleese (three goals) and Jack Hyde (two goals) found the net for St. John Paul II in a 9-4 Cape and Islands League win over Dennis-Yarmouth.
GIRLS LACROSSE
In a nonleague matchup, Julia Canario (two goals), Kristine Nocco (one goal, one assist), Emma Finch (one goal), Meghan Lesniak (one goal), and Tyra Medina (one goal) each found the net as Greater Lowell Tech bested Monty Tech, 6-2. Bailey Lower finished with nine goals and a pair of assists to record her 500th career point as Nantucket defeated Bridgewater-Raynham, 14-6.
Gabby Reardon netted the winning goal with three seconds remaining to give Marshfield a 9-8 Patriot League victory over Whitman-Hanson. … Stella Kirkpatrick (seven goals, assist), Addie Pyy (two goals, five assists), Sophie Vagnini and Payton Whiting scored for Plymouth North in an 11-10 win over North Quincy.
Zoe Labdon (five goals) and Julia Kipperman (four goals, five assists) paced things offensively for Nauset in a 14-13 Cape and Islands League win over Barnstable. … Sophie Philbrick scored six goals and dished four assists, and Emma Tucker and Katelyn Lawson netted a hat trick each while Charlotte Sturgis had a goal, an assist and 23/29 draw wins as St. John Paul II defeated Dennis-Yarmouth, 17-12.
In Cape Ann League action, Halle Greenleaf recorded her 100th career goal as she finished with five goals and a pair of assists to lead Ipswich past Hamilton-Wenham, 14-8.
In a nonleague game, Ava McKenna (two goals), Chloe Pickett (two goals), Elizabeth Descheneaux (two goals), and 13 other players scored as Methuen shut out Everett, 19-0.
