The Geely Emgrand holds 20.8% of the Belarusian market in 2023.

New car sales in Belarus are estimated to climb by 50% year-on year in 2023 to 25,840. Local producer Geely (+260.6%) holds a gargantuan 60.8% share and even reached 71% of Passenger Cars in December at 2,076 units out of 2,907. Lada (-29%) is in complete freefall at 10.4% of the market vs. 21.9% last year. Haval (+230.1%) is up six spots on 2022 to #3, while Audi (+63.2%) is up four to #4. There are now 6 Chinese brands in the Top 10: add JAC (#5), Voyah (#6), Chery (#7), FAW Bestune (#8) and Dongfeng (#10).

Over in the models aisle, Geely monopolises the Top 4 with the Emgrand at 20.8% share, followed by the Coolray (18.4%), Atlas Pro (11.5%) and Tugella (7.1%). The Lada Granta is the best of the rest at just 3.7% share, distancing the GAZ Gazel Next Van, Lada Vesta and GAZ Gazel Next Truck. The Lada Niva Legend resists at #9. Notice also the Haval Jolion at #12, the Voyah Free at #15, the VW Touareg at #19 and the Jetour Dashing at #29.
