Jeremy Insogna scored a goal and dished four assists to reach 100 career points, and Tyler Bourgea scored twice as Tewksbury (17-3) bested Wilmington 6-1 in a nonleague matchup. … Jacoby Patterson and Chase Darcey scored a goal and provided two assists each as Shawsheen downed Methuen, 6-1. … Philly Boncore netted two goals and supplied an assist as Winthrop (15-3-2) beat Grafton, 3-1. … Joe Ryan scored a pair of goals for Canton in a 5-1 win over Boston Latin.
Will Saratella found the net twice, and Jimmy Kenney potted the winning goal for Needham (10-8-1) in a 5-4 Bay State Conference victory over Waltham.
Marc Hilton scored the game’s only goal and Matthew Smith Jr. posted a 35-save shutout as St. Mary’s of Lynn blanked Belmont, 1-0, in the Pope Francis Invitational.
Leo Burdge’s 24 saves helped him earn MVP of the Newburyport Bank Classic Fournier division, backing Marblehead in a 2-1 win over Triton for the title. … Damien Lamb posted a second straight shutout and three different players scored as Newburyport topped Andover 3-0 for the Bresnahan division championship. … Nolan Petrucelli scored and dished two assists, leading Norwell in points within a 5-3 win over Haverhill in a consolation match.

Nora Shea scored the game’s only goal as Braintree (9-8-3) edged Arlington 1-0 in the Hingham Showcase. … Alyssa Jankowski scored the game-winning goal as Malden Catholic (12-3-4) edged Needham, 2-1. … Sami Norton, Addy Harrington, and Maeve Gallagher scored as Duxbury (18-3) defeated Archbishop Williams, 3-1.
Kelly Holmes potted her second goal in overtime, sending King Philip to the final in the Battle of the U Tournament with a 3-2 win over Bishop Stang.
BOYS BASKETBALL
Lorenzo Carrara put up 31 points for Xaverian (14-6) in a 69-49 nonleague win over New Bedford. … Jahmier Stephenson buried 17 points, and Jeyden Espinal and Avonte Lamore notched 15 points each as Durfee (13-7) defeated Greater New Bedford, 60-48.
Pete Kumar recorded 20 points and Jack Lovino added 15 to lift Medfield (16-4) past Foxboro, 69-47 in the Warrior Classic championship game.
Brendan McDonald (22 points, five assists), Dom Taylor (18 points, eight rebounds), Max Finlaw (18 points, eight rebounds) and Colten Pacheco (10 points, five rebounds, four assists) paced things offensively as Somerset Berkley (18-2) took down Hanover 76-55 in the Crosby Couto Tournament championship game.
Collett Kinobe tallied 18 points, and Saket Narayanan added 15 points as Acton-Boxboro beat Framingham 66-47 in the consolation game of the Jake and Joe’s Classic.
Johnny Payne scored 11 points, and Noah Beausoleil had nine points as Seekonk (6-14) edged Norton 50-48 in the Willow Tree Classic.
GIRLS BASKETBALL
Maddie Tierney scored 18 points as Bedford (17-3) defeated DCL rival Acton-Boxboro 53-38 in the consolation bracket of the Spartan Classic. … Cate Margolis and Ella Vidoni poured in 18 points each for Andover (14-7) in a 52-23 win over Dartmouth.
Izzy Barr collected 12 points and seven steals as Sandwich (19-1) defeated Dighton-Rehoboth 63-40 in nonleague action. … Jenna Oman scored 13 points, while Shania Gardner had nine points and Bella Abrams and Emma Farrell finished with eight points as East Bridgewater (13-8) topped West Bridgewater, 65-32. … Senior Caitlin Reilly registered 12 points, and freshmen Ariana Demetri and Sophie Gallivan had nine points each as North Reading (14-6) won 51-37 over Stoneham.
Ava Mennella (12 points), Meghan Lesniak (11 points, six steals) and Rowan Murphy (eight points, 12 rebounds) set the tone, and Jaylene Tatro chipped in with five points as Greater Lowell (7-13) defeated Northeast 43-23 in the Skaff Tournament consolation game.
Olivia Quagrello dropped a career-high 30 points and came away with 10 steals, while Victoria Quagrello had eight rebounds as Swampscott (8-12) prevailed 51-30 over Salem in the Northeastern Conference.
Jamie Quinn (24 points), Megan McNamara (15 points) and Nicki Brown (12 points) reached double figures in scoring, powering Dedham (7-13) to a 54-32 victory over Lowell Catholic in the Skaff Tournament championship game.
