DJ Reynolds scored 18 points as Lynn Classical edged Lowell Catholic 68-67 in the consolation game of the Spartan Classic. Marvin Avery Jr. added 15 points, while Rolky Brea Arias posted a double-double with 13 points and 15 rebounds.

Tournament MVP Ben Howard had 11 points and 15 rebounds, while Matt Gaffney added 22 points as Malden Catholic (10-9) rolled to a 66-42 win over Dartmouth to win the Spartan Classic.

Javi Lopez scored 17 points as Central Catholic defeated Needham 56-46 in a consolation game at the Comcast IAABO Board 27 tournament.

In nonleague play, sophomore Aiden Rideout had 15 points as Stoughton bested Plymouth North 49-37.

In the Winterfest Tournament, Mike Dankert (25 points, seven rebounds) was named the exhibition’s Most Valuable Player, while Nate Reynolds (22 points, 11 rebounds) added a double-double as Bourne upended Plymouth South in the championship, 72-53.

Kobe Nguyen scored 25 points as North Quincy (6-13) defeated Rockland 70-69 in the first round of the Shawn Cotter Tournament. … Kington Maxwell (22 points, five rebounds, five assists, five steals), Tyler Staiti (20 points) and Connor Pease (10 points, 12 rebounds) each combined to pace Abington in a 67-51 victory over Cape Cod Academy.

In the Larry McIntyre IAABO Board 130 Tournament, Camdyn Shoesmith finished with 14 points, draining four clutch free throws down the stretch to deliver Bedford (16-3) the championship crown with a wild 64-60 victory over Marblehead.

Caiden Cyr and Nathan Levesque (10 rebounds) drained 21 points apiece, as Apponequet (11-8) coasted to a 90-64 victory over Bishop Stang in the Mitch Kuliga Classic.

In the Blue Bombardiers Classic, Brady Stevens became the third player in program history to eclipse 1,000 career points, helping to propel Wellesley during a 69-58 win over Bishop Feehan.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Addie Woodgate scored 17 points to lead Archbishop Williams (7-13) to a 69-36 win over Boston Latin in the consolation game of the Weymouth Family Tournament.

In one of the Spartan Classic Championships, MVP Addy Andrews netted 18 points and all-tournament team member Sarah Chenette added 17 as Cohasset took down Newburyport 52-40.

Ava Bryan had a team-high 14 points as North Quincy earned a postseason berth with a 52-51 nonleague victory over King Philip.

In the Larry McIntyre IAABO Board 130 Championship, MVP Brooke Pulpi tallied 15 points as Reading (16-4) defeated North Andover 40-27. … Riley Bovardi, the granddaughter of the man for whom the tournament is named, hit a 15-foot jump shot with six seconds left to give Masconomet (14-5) a thrilling 47-45 win over the Peabody in the consolation game

In the first round of the Norwell Invitational, Maddie Oliver dropped 23 points with nine boards as Norwell took down Newton North, 51-44.

In the consolation game of the JBA Classic, Maddie Giesta (11 points, 12 rebounds) and Melanie Simmons (19 points, 10 rebounds) led the way as Arlington Catholic (11-8) edged Bellingham, 48-45. … In the championship game, Ava Orlando scored 25 points, added 10 steals and six assists as Notre Dame (19-1) won the JBA title with a 59-38 win over Ursuline.

In the South Coast Conference, Maddie Botelho dropped 26 points with eight triples as West Bridgewater (14-6) won 50-21 over Fairhaven.
