In Greater Boston League boys basketball action, Marvin Avery Jr. led with 16 while Rolky Brea Arias and DJ Reynolds both chipped in with 10 points each as Lynn Classical (10-6) defeated Medford 62-57.

Giovanni Jean stuffed the statsheet with 14 points, eight rebounds and eight assists as Lynn Tech (16-2) rolled to a 75-49 nonleague victory over Whittier. … Cayden Gonsalves finished with 22 points and eight rebounds to lead Case (11-7) to a 66-37 victory over Bristol-Plymouth.

In the Boston City League quarterfinals, freshman Krem Amparo finished with 22 points and 16 boards as Latin Academy edged Fenway 57-52. … Ayden Rogers and Derrick Twum each dropped 29 points as Innovation (14-6, 8-2) won the Commonwealth Athletic Conference with a 78-71 victory over Minuteman.

In Patriot League action, Dylan Perrault recorded 23 points and Isaiah Bean Brittian added 20 as Whitman-Hanson defeated Scituate, 71-59. … Senior Triston Rodriguez netted 40 points as Archbishop Williams (10-8) defeated Catholic Central League opponent Bishop Feehan 69-63.

Girls basketball

Maddie Oliver collected 25 points, 13 rebounds and five steals as Norwell (16-1) downed Dover-Sherborn 51-24 in a nonleague tilt. … Hailey Garcia netted 16 points as Mashpee won 51-33 over Nantucket.

In the Tri-Valley League, Naya Annigeri with 24 pts and six steals as Medfield (17-1) toppled Norwood 69-42.

Alissa Marcella netted 23 points as Pembroke (12-7) bested Patriot League opponent Plymouth North 58-42. … Sophomore Jenna Mishou had a game-high 16 points as Whitman-Hanson (15-3) took down Scituate 56-38.

Amelia Crowe scored 20 points to win the Cape Ann League title with a convincing 51-31 victory for Pentucket (18-1) over Newburyport.

In Mayflower action, Ally Johnson recorded 19 points while Bella Sulfaro added 13 points and ten boards to boost Blue Hills (13-4) past Diman, 56-42.

In a Greater Boston League game, Lauren Wilson finished with 19 points to lift Lynn Classical to a 47-36 win over Medford. … In Middlesex League action, Brooke Pulpi recorded 19 points and 12 rebounds as Reading (12-6) defeated Wakefield, 50-44.

Boys hockey

Logan Poulin scored twice to keep Nauset (15-1-1) in it and four others handled the rest to help avenge the team’s only loss with a 6-2 Cape and Islands League win over Nantucket.
