BOYS BASKETBALL

In a nonleague contest, Derrick Twum (26 points, seven rebounds) propelled things offensively while Jayden Ogbeide (13 points, 11 rebounds) added a double-double as Innovation Academy (11-5) rolled to a 63-46 victory over Cristo Rey.  … Jake Ogilvie  had a double-double with 22 points and 15 rebounds as Norton took down Blue Hills 54-45.  … Seniors Cayden Gonsalves (20 points) and Landon Cayton (19 points, seven rebounds) combined to lead Case (9-6) during a 70-30 romp of Diman.

Marvin Avery netted 21 points and DJ Reynolds finished with 14 points and seven boards as Lynn Classical (8-5) defeated Malden 73-58 in Greater Boston League play.

Tyrin MacDonald scored 16 points as South Shore Tech (5-11) edged Cape Cod Tech 50-48 in the Mayflower Athletic Conference.

In the ISL, Ryan Altman scored 16 points as Rivers (16-2) defeated Kingswood Oxford, 54- 47.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

In the Cape and Islands League, Devin Crawford paced things offensively with a 22-point performance, while Marlo Jumper added 16 points as John Paul II (13-5) defeated Nantucket, 59-34.

Peyton Dibiasio scored 18 points as Saugus upended Northeastern Conference opponent Gloucester 59-40.

In the Hockomock League, Kailey Sullivan had 19 and Camryn Collins added 16 as Foxboro (15-1) cruised to a 74-31 win over Sharon. … Mercia Kolokithas poured in 31 points with nine triples as Canton defeated Stoughton 71-54.

Muji Vader stopped 28 points as Minuteman (13-3) routed Muniz 70-36 in nonleague action. … Mia Gentile had 21 points in Somerset Berkley’s 63-54 win over New Bedford.

Sarah Chenette finished with a team-leading 20 points, pacing Cohasset during a 56-46 win over South Shore League foe Carver.

Sophomore Amelia Crowe dropped 19 points, and senior Ava DiBurro tallied 16 points herself to provide Pentucket (15-1) a 73-28 win over Amesbury in the Cape Ann League. … Harper Brooks scored nine points as Manchester-Essex (11-4) edged Newburyport, 41-40. … Lucy Donahue scored 29 points as Ipswich bested Lynnfield, 49-30.

Lamees Alasaad tallied 13 points, while teammate Kaylee Maier added 12 as Dracut defeated Haverhill, 41-32.

BOYS HOCKEY

Nico Chiaradonna scored twice with an assist and Connor Hayes added a tally and three helpers in a 6-1 win for Foxboro over Stoughton in a Hockomock League tilt.

GIRLS HOCKEY

Milton (13-3) won the Bay State Conference title as Molly Murphy and Mary Lovett each scored twice in a 6-1 victory over Newton.
